What’s included in a membership?

Membership to Shared Supercar includes access to all of the vehicles and club events.

Is this fractional ownership or an exotic car rental company?

Neither, Shared Supercar is a subscription service. Fractional ownership divides costs among fractional owners, exposing owners to various liabilities. Shared Supercar owns and is responsible for all of the costs associated with the fleet. Unlike exotic car rental companies, our vehicles are only available to members.

How do the driving days I signed up for translate to points?

The number of driving days selected is based on an approximate midpoint of the fleet. In other words, if you only drive Tier 3 vehicles your overall number of driving days will be fewer, while if you only drive Tier 1 vehicles you it will be more. Generally it averages out to about the midpoint given the mix of vehicles.

How are driving days determined?

Each vehicle is assigned a number of points based on cost to operate, depreciation expense and demand for when the reservation is made (e.g. weekend vs. weekday).

I have used most of my points, and do not have enough left for the car I want to drive?

If you have used most of your points and only have few only a few remaining, you can buy additional points to make up the difference.

How many miles are included per driving day?

100 miles per day are included. No worries if you go over, we simply charge a predetermined rate based on vehicle.

Who owns the vehicles?

Shared Supercar, Inc. owns and is responsible for the vehicles. This way you, as a member, are not on the hook for repairs, insurance, depreciation and other expenses.

Is the deposit returnable?

Yes, the deposit is paid when you join Shared Supercar and held the length of your membership. Should you decide to cancel you membership, your deposit is returned to you in full.

What protects my deposit?

Members have a first lien position on the vehicles.

Are corporate membership options available?

Yes.
